July Band Events

Band Camp Begins July 29!

For the first two weeks, Camp will be held 7:00 am to 6:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with lunch break (no lunch provided) from 12:00-1:00 pm.

August calendar is available for download and updated in the online Google Calendar.  Please see the notes section (located at the bottom right hand corner), as it contains the contest schedule for the season.  The football and rehearsal schedules for the entire season maybe found at  https://clearfallsband.org/calendar/  . Note that there are instructions there for linking our google calendar to your own calendar or mobile app, so you are always up to date.  

Fees, Equipment and Uniform Fittings, Saturday July 27th

All band members and a parent must attend “Equipment Day” on Saturday July 27th from 9 am to 1 pm.  We will split it up as follows:

  • 9 to 10 am: Seniors 
  • 10 to 11 am: Juniors
  • 11 am to Noon: Sophomores
  • Noon to 1 pm: 9th graders

Please note that it will take some time to get all of the paperwork squared away and for the students to be fit for their uniforms.  So do plan on being here the entire hour for fittings.  Also, please be patient with us while we try to get all of our students taken care of by our wonderful volunteers!

You can download the Form for Band Fees for 2019-2020.  As of right now the only change is in the Fair Share fee.  It has moved from $300 to $350.  

Due to many concerns in the past, we figured doing during the day will be better for our parents not having to stay too late after a band practice.  In addition to collecting fees and forms needed, we will also utilize this time for our BRAND NEW uniform fittings for the students.  Please make sure your student is in attendance for this event.  If your student still has their water bottle, band shirt, band shoes, gloves, then these items are not required.  

Finally, all the fees will paid to the Band Boosters this year.  So no need to make out individual checks for $150 and below this year.  This includes the Fair Share fee.  All will go to the Band Boosters.  If any of the fees need to change we will notify you as soon as we can.  

Event Volunteers

Finally, at the equipment/fees day we will have a table setup for volunteers for various events throughout the year.  We ask that each student have someone from their family volunteer for at least one of the events for the year.  This is different from years past when we just looked for committee members, but we would like to get all involved in some capacity.  So please take a look at the dates on the calendar to see which events you might be available for.
