We hope you had a safe and relaxing break! The boosters would like to give a very heartfelt thank you to all of our volunteers so far throughout the year. The booster general meeting will take place on Tuesday December 6th during the Winter Concert.
Region Band Auditions this week (Dec 6th, 7th, 9th). All students who raised their hand in class have been signed up already. The cost is $15 per audition and the money is due IMMEDIATELY. We DO have bus drivers lined up for Friday and Monday. Students are to report to the band hall at 2:15 pm from 7th period and we will leave as soon as all students arrive. We will need Alt. Travel forms for any student wishing to get a ride to/from this event. Instrument dates are listed on the next page. Saturday the bus will meet at Falls at 7:45 am and we will leave at 8 am. All Start and Ending times are all TBD.
Tuesday December 3rd is our Annual Winter Concert! The concert begins at 6:30 pm at the CFHS Auditorium. This is the final exam grade for all band/guard students. This event will feature performances from our guard, jazz band, concert band, symphonic band, and wind ensemble. It is sure to be a memorable night! Students must stay at the entire concert to receive full credit for the final exam. ALL STUDENTS ARE ELIGIBLE REGARDLESS OF GRADE FOR THIS EVENT!! Please join us for the cookies/punch social immediately after the concert!
The final payment installment for the Band Fees is due on Monday December 2nd. Please refer to your charms account for more details. Please pay all fees so we can make sure the students get the necessary needs for the rest of the year. If there are any questions, please contact Mr. Moreno.
Concert Band Rehearsal this Monday December 2nd from 3:30-4:15. (We have shortened the rehearsal time as last time they did REALLY well) This is for a grade.
Individual Band and Guard pictures are set for Wednesday December 4th. They will be taken during their band class dressed in their band jackets and instruments. Guard will need to be in their “On Winter’s Breath” costumes. Please make sure your student plans accordingly for this picture. Purchasing information will be distributed to the students and we will send a Charms email with more details soon.
