Congratulations to our students who earned Region and District Honors! We had a grand total of 40 students get awarded this region season! Once we get the finalized list we will send out a special memo for all of these students.
We had a total 7 students advance to the Area level of competition and have a chance to audition for state on January 12th at Clements High School. Sarah Bowles-oboe, Erin Smith-Eb clarinet, Tarryn Goldner and Alex Phan-bassoon, Kyle DuPont, Euphonium, Andy Smith and Americo Zapata-trumpet, Jackson Delmer-tuba. Well done to all students and private teachers.
We are currently past the due dates for fees and trip! Please pay your Spring Trip payment and fair share fee if you are on a payment plan. A letter went out on charms this past week updating all on the final costs for the trip. If you did not receive that information please email Mr. Moreno. Students must have a total of $960 in their Spring Trip accounts as of right now.
The Clear Falls band photo order forms will also be sent out once we received them from our photographer. Please stay tuned!
The Wind Ensemble ESC performance was amazing! Well done all!
The region clinic and concert has been moved to January 25th and 26th due to the audition date change. The location is La Marque High School. Student that have conflicts will be excused, but must be cleared by a director.
No Percussion Ensemble this week.
ALL instruments/guard equipment must go home for the break. Please speak with your student about getting them home after their final exam date and time. Students are required to show up to the band/guard final exam times this week.
