CONGRATS KNIGHT BAND ON 2nd PLACE AT GULF COAST MARCHING INVITATIONAL! This was definitely a team effort. Thank you section leaders, chaperones and Roadies! What a great start to contest season! We got some great comments from judges to help us prepare for UIL and Area!
October 15th Convocation performance is cancelled due to rain!
Saturday October 20th is UIL marching Contest. Rehearsal attendance is CRITICAL to apply our judges comments.
Parents please do not park in the horseshoe around the front of the school to not get in the way of buses on game/contest nights. Also, please avoid the area right outside of the band hall. Handicap spaces are limited to those who have a handicap sticker/tag.
We have all of the chaperone help we need for the trip. Thank you to our wonderful parents volunteers.
If we make a 1st division at UIL we will have our next stadium rehearsal at Challenger stadium on October 22nd. Times are 5:45-8:00 pm. Slightly changed to accommodate travel. Call time at the band hall is 4:15 pm. In the event of rain the contest will be held on Tuesday October 23rd. Schedule will not be made until the final decision is made to call the contest. There is also possibilities for delays for rain.
New eligibility for grades will take effect this Friday at 2:30 pm. Grades will be finalized on Tuesday by 2:30.
